Avoid long lines to renew your traditional driver’s license or to access basic services offered by the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office by making an appointment to stop by a mobile DMV event I’m hosting Friday, February 25, at my District office in Wheaton.
I will be hosting Secretary of State’s Office employees from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during which they will process basic driver’s license and license plate renewals, vehicle sticker renewal, and address changes. Of note, as a mobile facility, services will NOT include driver’s tests or REAL IDs. Drivers over the age of 75 must visit the permanent DMV centers for their driver’s license renewals. We do not provide driver’s testing of any kind.
Standard Secretary of State fees will be required. Information regarding the services, fees and identification requirements may be found at the Secretary of State’s website at www.cyberdriveillinois.com. At this time, the Mobile Driver Services Facility is unable to accept cash. Please bring a check, credit/debit card, or money order to pay for any services received.
Given the limited timeframe, appointments are required through this link or by calling my District office at (331) 218-4182.
I hope this mobile event and future sessions at my office at 416 E. Roosevelt Road, Suite 111, will alleviate the difficulties we’re facing since shutdowns due to Covid19.
