State Representative Amy Grant is launching a holiday drive to give back to those in need, and invites her constituents to join her in giving.
This year’s toy and gift collection drive will benefit The Christmas Store, a one-day shopping event run by Outreach Community Center in Carol Stream to help families in need do their holiday shopping at a discount. Outreach Community Center is a non-profit organization that works with community groups, churches, and businesses to help fill their gift tables for this special one-day event that will take place this year on Saturday, December 10th at the Outreach Community Center in Carol Stream, 345 S President Street.
Purchasing affordable gifts honors parents and grandparents, while proceeds from the Store are designated to Outreach’s case management services, which help families throughout the year who need financial assistance.
The Christmas Store has put together a wish list below:
You are able to donate to our drive in three different ways:
- Now through December 5: Direct online purchases at Amazon or Target
- October 24-November 4: Drop off gifts at Rep. Grant’s district office in Wheaton, 416 E Roosevelt Rd, #111, during business hours M-F 9:00 am–4:00 pm
- Call for a home pick up: Rep. Grant can pick up donation items from your home. If you’d prefer this method, please call the office at 331-218-4182 or email at email@example.com.
