Wheaton, IL – Join State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) and State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) for a free paper shredding event and food drive on Saturday, May 20, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event will take place at the Wheaton Park District’s Rice Pool Waterpark parking lot, located at 1777 S. Blanchard St., Wheaton, IL 60189.
This is a perfect opportunity for community members to safely and securely dispose of sensitive documents while also supporting the Milton Township Food Pantry Inc. by donating non-perishable food items. Participants are encouraged to bring their paper items for shredding and unexpired, non-perishable food items for collection.
Please note the following event guidelines:
- No electronics will be accepted for recycling or disposal.
- The event will conclude at noon, or once the truck is at capacity.
- All food donations will directly benefit the Milton Township Food Pantry Inc.
- All food items for donation must be unexpired and non-perishable.
