Senator Lewis and Representative Grant to Host Unclaimed Property Day on September 27 in Carol Stream

Carol Stream, Illinois— State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) and State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) are partnering with the Illinois Treasurer’s Office to connect Illinoisans with more than $3.5 billion in unclaimed property and cash.

From 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 27, residents can meet with a counselor from the Treasurer’s Office at the Lewis/Sanalitro shared district office to learn if some of the unclaimed items are theirs.

“One in four people who search the Treasurer’s Office ICash database discover property or cash they can claim,” said Lewis. “The ICash counselors at this event can assist with a search and help people file claims.”
