ILLINOIS – Last year, a heartwarming number of 1,939 Illinois children found their forever homes with loving families. However, today, there are still 19,835 young souls in the system eagerly waiting for a family and a place they can truly call home.
In the General Assembly, I’m honored to sit on two crucial committees that address these pressing issues: the Adoption and Child Welfare Committee and the Foster Care Placement Subcommittee. Our mission is to ensure every child finds the love and care they deserve.
