CHICAGO, IL – Chicago Police Officer Luis Huesca was shot and killed as he returned home from his shift on April 21, 2024. Officer Huesca died in the line of duty protecting the City and people of Chicago.
I am praying for the wonderful men and women who serve and sacrifice for their neighbors and communities safety – It simply shouldn’t be like this.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 p.m. through 8 p.m. at Blake Lamb Funeral Home in Oak Lawn. A funeral mass is planned for Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church on Western Avenue in Chicago.
