Over the next few weeks throughout the summer I will be featuring some of our interns here at the district office. This week I would like to introduce Tom Drabik –
“Hello everyone! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Tom Drabik and I am currently a sophomore studying Political Science as well as Spanish at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
“I am a native of the Wheaton area and I have lived in Illinois my entire life. I attended CUSD 200 schools throughout my K-12 academic years and I am an active volunteer at my local Catholic church.
“Ever since I was in kindergarten I have dreamt about becoming a public servant and so, I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to work as an intern for my State Representative, Amy Grant, during the summer.
“I love being able to communicate with the public on issues that face our state, both through written correspondence and in-person meetings. Over the course of this internship I will be working in our district office and walking around neighborhoods to distribute various literature. If you ever see me walking in your local neighborhood, don’t hesitate to introduce yourself! I am so enthused to see new faces, solve different challenges, and acquire numerous opportunities thanks to this internship.” – Tom Drabik | Intern
