DUPAGE COUNTY, IL – State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) is reminding residents to bring donations in to their local food pantries. Many food pantries across Illinois struggle in the summer months attracting donations, but the need is none the less there.
“DuPage families having stable access to food is a top priority of mine,” stated Rep. Grant. “I encourage everyone to work with their families and neighbors to find some extra nonperishable food items and donate them to your local pantry for those in need.”
Last month, Representative Grant and her intern team brought a round of food donations to the Milton Township Food pantry which services about 700 individuals per month.
