Wheaton, IL — State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) is encouraging residents across Illinois to shop local and support small businesses this upcoming Small Business Saturday on November 30, 2024.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities and the heartbeat of local economies,” said Rep. Grant. “When you make a purchase from a small business —you are supporting local jobs, families, and the unique character of our neighborhoods.”
Small Business Saturday is celebrated annually the first Saturday after Thanksgiving, is a national movement to acknowledge the importance of small businesses. Grant’s 47th district is home to various boutiques, artisan shops, and family-owned restaurants – each bringing their own unique contributions to their respective towns.
Rep. Grant invites everyone to celebrate the small businesses that make Illinois communities special. “This holiday season, join me in showing our local entrepreneurs how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication,” she added.
