Rep. Grant Recognizes January as National Blood Donor Month

JANUARY – State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) is recognizing January 2025 as National Blood Donor Month and encouraging residents of Illinois to participate in life-saving blood donation efforts.

“Blood donation is one of the simplest ways to make a difference in our communities,” said Grant. “One hour of your time can save multiple lives and support patients in critical need.”

National Blood Donor Month began in 1969 and highlights the importance of regular blood donation efforts, especially during the winter months when supplies often run low. The annual campaign helps to raise awareness and encourage first-time donors to participate in strengthening the health and well-being of people across the US.
