Rep. Grant on Environmental Risks from Underground Storage Tanks

DUPAGE COUNTY –  State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) has introduced legislation to keep Illinois’ environment clean and safe. HB1640 seeks to improve transparency and efficiency in addressing environmental contamination caused by leaking underground storage tanks. The bill would allow public notices of bids for clean-up projects to be published online and ensure timely and effective action to protect Illinois’ soil and water.
