SPRINGFIELD – State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) joined law enforcement officers and fellow lawmakers at the State Capitol to pay tribute to Illinois police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty over the past year.
“The Fallen Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony is a solemn reminder of the bravery and strength of the men and women who serve and protect our communities,” said Grant. “It was an honor to stand alongside officers from across Illinois to recognize the sacrifice of our fallen heroes and show support for their families. May their courage and service never be forgotten.”
