Rep. Amy Grant and Sen. Seth Lewis to Host Senior Resource Fair in Wheaton

WHEATON – State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) and State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) are inviting local seniors, caregivers, and families to attend a free Senior Resource Fair on Thursday, August 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Wheaton Park District, located at 1777 S. Blanchard Street.

Hosted in partnership with over 40 local agencies and organizations, the event will offer valuable information and services tailored to the needs of area seniors. Attendees can connect directly with representatives from healthcare providers, government agencies, and senior-focused service organizations.

Free health screenings, including blood pressure checks and fall risk assessments, will also be available on-site. Complimentary refreshments will be served, and admission is free.

“This event is a great opportunity for older adults and their families to explore the many resources available in our community,” said Rep. Grant. “Whether you’re looking for healthcare options, legal help, or utility savings, you’ll find it here all in one place.”

Participants include (subject to change): Advocate Health Advisors, Aetna, AgeOptions, Commonwealth Edison, DuPage County Health Department, DuPage Veterans Assistance Commission, Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Illinois State Police, Illinois Tollway, Oak Street Health, the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, PACE, Wheaton Fire Department, and many more.
