ILLINOIS – Legislators have kicked off the Illinois House of Representative’s 2026 Spring Session on January 20, 2026.
State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) is reminding residents that one important way to show their support or opposition for a piece of legislation before the Illinois General Assembly is to file a witness slip. These slips are read into the official record and noted for members during committee hearings when legislation is presented.
