Rep. Amy Grant Hosts Successful Mobile DMV Event

Dozens of residents of the 42nd House District avoided long lines at the DMV recently when they participated in State Representative Amy Grant’s mobile DMV event held at her district office in Wheaton.

Representatives from the Secretary of State’s driver services department were on hand to help drivers complete services through individual scheduled appointments on September 10. Services offered included:

  • Traditional driver’s license renewals (Real IDs could not be obtained at the event)
  • Vehicle sticker renewals
  • Completing change of address forms

“With the delays people are experiencing at DMV facilities across the state, this was a wonderful event that I was glad to offer my constituents,” said Rep. Grant. “Every time slot was filled within two days of publicizing this event, which shows a tremendous need for these types of services. My office is in the process of finalizing plans for another mobile DMV event for October.”

Details for the October mobile DMV event will be posted to Rep. Grant’s web site (RepGrant.com), and will be promoted through her E-Newsletter. Those who wish to subscribe to Rep. Grant’s newsletter may do so at: https://repgrant.com/email-updates.
