Memorial Highway Dedication Honoring Staff Sgt. Robert J. Miller

Join State Representative Amy Grant at the Field of Honor Opening Ceremony as she formally presents the Illinois General Assembly’s designation of a portion of Route 38 as the “U.S. Army SSG Robert J. Miller Memorial Highway.”
The ceremony will honor Staff Sgt. Robert J. Miller, a Wheaton native, U.S. Army Special Forces soldier, and Medal of Honor recipient who gave his life while serving in Afghanistan in 2008. This special recognition celebrates his courage and sacrifice which has created a lasting legacy in the Wheaton community.
